http://www.congresslink.org/HistoricalMaterialsIntro.htm These materials will assist teachers in developing lesson plans related to Congress and the federal government. They include historical documents and photographs, narrative descriptions, and a glossary and historical notes.
http://historymatters.gmu.edu/browse/manypasts/ History Matters contains primary documents in text, image, and audio about the experiences of ordinary Americans throughout U.S. history. All of the documents have been screened by professional historians and are accompanied by annotations that address their larger historical significance and context. A full search feature allows yosu to quickly locate documents by topic, time period, or keyword.

The documents chronicle United States history from 1776 to 1965.
http://www.splcenter.org/center/tt/teach.jsp ~~Teaching Tolerance is a K-12 education program of the Southern Poverty Law Center with a focus on teaching for diversity and equity. It has links to curriculum resources, a list of recommended reading, and information on their semiannual "Teaching Tolerance" magazine, an excellent resource free to teachers upon request.

The site is aimed at K-12 classroom teachers with profiles of classroom programs, grant applications, newsletters, a listserv, workshop details, an annotated bibliography of global education resources (and resource people).
www.teachglobaled.net This site is the product of ongoing collaboration of Ohio State University's Social Studies and Global Education program with OSU's African Studies Center, East Asian Studies Center, the Center for Latin American Studies, the Middle East Studies Center, the Slavic and Eastern European Studies Center and Indiana University's Center for the Study of Global Change. The Centers have approved all resources offered here for K-12 teachers.
