CyberHigh Frequently Asked Questions:
What is CyberHigh?
CyberHigh is where high school students can enroll in online classes to earn credits to meet graduation requirements.
Who can enroll in CyberHigh?
CyberHigh is open to high school students. Darke County students who are credit deficient can register for CyberHigh classes at the recommendation of their guidance counselor. Students outside of Darke County should have their guidance counselor contact the Darke County ESC for more information.
Who are the teachers at CyberHigh?
The Darke County Educational Service Center will assign teachers who hold an Ohio teaching license in the appropriate content area to facilitate online courses. Teachers and students will communicate with each other primarily through email, instant messaging and class forums. CyberHigh participating teachers are dedicated to creating a positive online experience for each student.
What equipment is needed?
Students must have access to a computer with Internet access. If a student does not have a computer and/or Internet access from home, they should ask their school guidance counselor about possible alternatives. Click here to view Minimum Computer Requirements.

How do I register for CyberHigh classes?
Students interested in taking CyberHigh classes should talk to their school guidance counselor. The guidance counselor can then recommend the student for enrollment and submit the registration form to the Darke County ESC. Each new student is required to attend an orientation session, at which time the student will receive a CyberHigh student handbook, software installation CD and other resources.
Is CyberHigh available for students outside of Darke County?
If you are a student not attending a Darke County school but have an interest in taking CyberHigh courses, have your district guidance counselor contact the Darke County ESC for information on becoming a partner district.
