ReadPlease is text-to-speech software. It can be used in conjunction with any digital file. The software reads the digital text to the student. Students can use the software to help proofread word processing documents or listen to text as opposed to reading an assignments. ReadPlease 2003 is a free version that never expires. ReadPlease Plus 2003 has a trial period of 30-days after which you may purchase a serial number to unlock the software. This download gives you both versions of ReadPlease.

Word Speak 2001 is text-to-speech software that works within microsoft Word documents. Using this software a student can listen to any Word Document.

You or your students can create your own review games with these fun TV show themes. Once you download the Microsoft Power point templates you are ready to insert your own questions in order to review content.

This is a wonderful reference tool. GuruNet can be downloaded as free windows software. Using this software you can click on any unknown word on the screen and you are instantly linked to definitions, synonyms, facts, and hyperlinks. GuruNet will also pronounce the word.

For a limited time Premier Assistive Technology will allow you to download this software for free. This software enables you to listen to electronic text files.

This is a free, comprehensive reading program complete with activities, interactive books, even animated "movies". You can order workbook to supplement the activities that you will find on the web site.

This is a free piece of software that enables students, teachers, and classes to create graphic organizers.  This software can be used to help students organize thoughts before writing or to present classroom notes as a concept map.

Awesome Talkster combines a browser, directory, search engine, and text-to-voice technology.  By adding a Natural Voice to Web pages, children and teens can learn to pronounce words as they read them.  Awesome Talkster includes an animated character, providing synchronized highlighting so that children can follow along even more easily.  This multi-sensory approach is a powerful method for improving reading skills. Online books for children and teens are available in the Awesome Library so that they can practice their reading skills.  The Awesome Talkster also functions as a talking web browser.  This allows you to select online text and have it read to you.
