Good Morning APUSHers.
Welcome to the first entry in this summer's blog. The purpose of this blog is to stay in touch with you over the summer and try to get you to think about history. I've learned from some of the mistakes I made last year and this year's blog will be a little different.
I will blog about topics in US history. Somedays it may be just a little tidbit, others it may be more in depth. Somedays, I might even get philosophical and talk about the theories of history (you'll see what I mean this week). I may even put AP questions or strategies, if I get really bored. I will try to blog four days out of the week and ask my extra credit question on Fridays. There usually won't be anything during the weekend (unless I read something that I want to share with you befor I forget).
So... why should you read this? Easy.... I'll pay you to. Now, I can't really give you money, but what I can give you is extra credit. This is how its going to work: Once a week, usually on Fridays, I'll post a question having to do with the blog. Your job is to answer it, telling me what day you found the answer. Sometimes the questions will be easier, other times they will be harder. You have one week to get the answer to me. If you get the answer correct, I will give you 5 points extra credit added to your extra credit bank account. You can use this extra credit at anytime of the school year, all you have to do is let me know when you want to use it. Now, you all should be familiar about how I feel about extra credit.... I really don't like it, so realize how great an opportunity this is. You won't get an opportunity like this during the
school year.
I hope you enjoy these entries... also if you are doing the readings or notes in the textbook, and you have a question, please let me know... I might even add a little extra credit in your account.
Have a great day and I will talk to you soon.
